Rise To the Occasion!

Did you know that testosterone levels are adversely affected by alcohol, stress and obesity? Low testosterone levels can cause less strong erections, decrease in libido, decreased enjoyment of life, sadness or depression, grumpiness, falling asleep after dinner, deterioration in work performance and deterioration in ability to play sports. Not what a chap needs.

The good news is that there is a very effective medicinal herb, which has recently gained a reputation as a natural Viagra. It is proving to be a very popular.Tribulous

Men, who are stressed often find that their testosterone levels are adversely affected. And if that were not enough, there is  also the natural decline in sex hormone as a man ages. Low testosterone levels can cause problems getting or maintaining an erection. And if a man drinks to help alleviate stress, that too impacts his testosterone levels.

He may comfort eat because of work-related stress and pressure at home from his partner because he can't always rise to the occasion. Being overweight also causes a decline in testo levels. But all is not lost and there is a way forward. The answer is to address both the stress levels and the testesterone levels simultaneously and this can easily be achieved by popping some pills (legally of course!).

The herb, which has gained a reputation as a natural Viagra, is Tribulus. There are many forms of this herb sold both over the counter and online. However, it's worth knowing that to gain the desired effect, the Tribulus must be of a specific variety and be grown in a specific place. Can you imagine getting a great bottle of wine out of a grape of the wrong variety, which has been grown in the wrong climate and soil conditions? It's just not going to happen. And so it is with medicinal herbs. Lots of imposters out there in a marketplace full of inferior products. You need to be sure that it contains enough of the plant chemical to do the business or it's a waste of your time and money.

So how does Tribulus work?

Well, throughout the day LH (luteinizing hormone) is released in spurts by the pituitary gland. These spurts stimulate the release of testosterone from the testicles. Signals are strong in the morning, which accounts for the higher testosterone levels, spontaneous morning erections and increased libido. Tribulus works by increasing the level of LH and thereby testosterone. It has been shown to increase libido in clinical trials. After 3 months on Mediherb's Tribulus Forte tablets (3 tablets per day), patients experienced an increase in total testosterone of around 30%.

At the same time, it is important to reduce stress levels. This can be done by taking stress-relieving herbs, which do not cause drowsiness, such as Rhodiola and Ginseng Complex. These can safely be taken alongside the Mediherb's Tribulus Forte. Patients usually find that this works very well for them. Rhodiola and Korean Ginseng are combined to create what is thought to be a perfect formula for helping the body respond appropriately to stress:

  • It supports physical and cognitive performance, especially during times of fatigue and stress, when the capacity for work and concentration declines

  • It really enhances vitality and stamina

Reducing alcohol and coffee consumption will also help and exercise, say three time a week, even if it's just a half hour brisk walk, will help lower stress levels. If you are overweight, it may be worth doing the 8 week Weight Management Programme, which gives you all the tools you need, including meal and recipe ideas; and herbal tablets to help you burn fat and control blood sugar levels. This is a highly effective approach to weight loss and is not a diet so you can eat 3 healthy meals a day along with healthy snacks. No need to starve or feel miserable. Patients experience a boost in energy levels as well as weight loss, which can be maintained in the long-term.
