More than just another antioxidant!
This potent antioxidant neutralises free radicals, and what makes it so impressive, is that it can work in both water and fat environments, whereas most antioxidants are specific to one or the other environment. For example vitamin E works only in fat and vitamin C only works in water. Research that shows it may recycle other antioxidants.
