Testimonials

A 32 year old woman presenting with digestive bloating and recurrent BV. "I went to see Deborah after my six month old son had had colic, oral thrush and finally ringworm and I wanted to treat his condition as naturally as possible. In the initial consultation Deborah asked me lots of questions about the birth but also about my health, as unknown to me you pass on your gut flora to your baby through birth and breastfeeding. She suspected that I had an overgrowth of yeast which was ...

Description

A licensed herbal medicine for the symptomatic relief of anxiety, nervousness, excitability and travel sickness and an adjunct in the treatment of epilepsy in dogs and cats.

The ultimate herbal combination in a suger-coated tablet, invaluable to calm and relax dogs and cats suffering from excitability, apprehension, phobias or hyperactivity. Widely used and particularly effective for those suffering from noise phobias as a result of fireworks, thunderstorms or gunfire. Does not cause drowsiness or impair normal behaviour or performance, making it suitable for those who just need to be settled for showing, travelling, training or obedience work.

Given before a journey they will calm nervous travellers and is also ideal if new surroundings and situations cause apprehension or anxiety, making it a useful training aid for young dogs being introduced to the show ring and cats at a show (liquid Organic Valerian Compound is a quick acting alternative on singular occasions or for short term use) as well as thunderstorms, fireworks, visits to the vet etc.

Under veterinary supervision, Scullcap and Valerian tablets are used in the control of epilepsy, often in conjunction with orthodox anti-convulsant drugs.

Male dogs can sometimes cause great embarrassment, when there is a bitch in season nearby. These tabets should be given to male dogs or cats to reduce excitability. It is usually necessary to give the maximum daily dose of 2 tablets per 5kg bodyweight. For bitches in season, our Doggy Detox tablets may help to reduce the odour and reduce unwelcome attention.

Queens that are not going to be mated are prone to frantic behaviour during the call. Give Scullcap & Valerian tablets at the treatment dose for one week to reduce anxiety and keep them calm. During this period, queens may lose their appetite and as a result condition and bodyweight may be affected.

There are times, when dogs and cats need to bee kept calm and quiet - perhaps following surgery, a mild shock, veterinary treatment or during convalescence. In such a case, this product can be given twice daily for as long as necessary.

Territorial spraying is a tiresome problem for all cat owners. Scullcap & Valerian tablets given daily at the treatment dose will reduce the anxiety that causes them to feel the need to continually mark their territory. The dose can usually be reduced to maintenance dose after two weeks.
