Description

This herbal formulation treats a wide range of conditions. When given regularly, it increases resistance to infections by stimulating the immune system. A tablet crusher is available.

 Boost Immunity

Garlic has long been renowned for its antibiotic, antiseptic and anti-viral properties and this has been confirmed by modern scientific studies, which also show its ability to help with the removal of toxins from the system. Fenugreek has an anti-inflammatory action.

Minor Infections

Garlic & Fenugreek is used to treat minor infections, such as interdigital cysts (as these cysts tend to recur regularly, it is advisable to keep your pet on the lower maintenance dose as a preventive measure), cystitis, and inflamed anal glands (bathe with Garlic Juice). For cystitis, give also Mixed Vegetable tablets to increase urinary flow and remove uric acid; avoid dry foods and high salt or protein. If symptoms persist or there is a high temperature, seek your Vet's advice.

 Arthritis

This herbal medicine is particularly effective for older cats and dogs in the treatment of arthritis, rheumatism and skin complaints when given in conjunction with Mixed Vegetable tablets, which are also recommended for these conditions. If your pet is overweight, this will place more stress on the joints. If your pet needs to lose weight, give a low calorie diet along with Kelp Seaweed tablets to assist weight loss. It can be beneficial to give Glucosamine & Chondroitin to help maintain joint health, when there are signs of wear and tear or after an injury.

 Skin Problems

The most common forms of skin problems are dermatitis, eczema and pyoderma. The symptoms are typically inflamed hot skin, itchiness and hair loss resulting from scratching. The diet needs to be considered carefully and red meat, high protein diets, and foods containing colouring and flavouring agents should be avoided. Dairy products should also be avoided. To treat the condition, give the treatment dose of Garlic & Fenugreek tablets to deal with any minor infections and also the treatment dose of Mixed Vegetable tablets to relieve the irritation and cool the skin. This should be continued for at least a month, reducing to the lower maintenance dose as the condition improves. Easy Green is beneficial for cooling the skin and should be added to the daily diet of pets suffering with skin conditions. Evening Primrose Oil capsules or liquid are excellent for skin problems and should be given alongside the herbal medicine to encourage coat regrowth and continued afterwards to maintain the skin. Comfrey & Calendula Balm soothes dry, sore, scaly or damaged skin.

Also for the general health for cats and dogs, Keeper's Mix conditioning supplement contains eight herbs that each have a specific benefit for different body systems, helping your pet stay healthy throughout its life.
